About Us

Who we are

Anupro specialise in animal production systems with particular focus on nutrition, housing and health. We take a whole systems approach to ensure the delivery of high levels of performance, economic efficiency, animal welfare and low levels of disease and antibiotic usage. 

We offer bespoke solutions that meet the production needs of our customers using the latest scientific research and believe our systematic approach can deliver impactful progress within the livestock industry. 

Anupro programmes also contribute positively to environmental sustainability as they are designed to enhance production efficiency. For example, reducing the age at slaughter will reduce lifetime dry matter intake and subsequent water consumption and greatly reduce methane emissions per unit of product produced.

Furthermore, we offer honesty, transparency and commitment to our customers and suppliers. We pride ourselves on building personal relationships based on trust and mutual respect, facilitating effective partnership and delivery.

Anupro Ltd was founded by Dr Ryan Law partnered with Mr Gary Fitzpatrick and Inzar. 

Dr Ryan Law

BSc (Hons), PhD

Ryan has over 20 years’ experience in ruminant nutrition and associated productions systems and supply chains. He has an undergraduate degree in Animal Science from the University of Edinburgh and a PhD in Ruminant Nutrition and Production from Queen’s University, Belfast. Ryan has developed multiple programmes to improve production and economic efficiency, animal health and welfare, fertility and environmental sustainability across multiple sectors; beef, lamb and dairy. These programmes have pioneered market leading innovations in disease prevention and reduction in antibiotic usage as well as optimisation of meat quality.

Gary Fitzpatrick

Gary has 40 years’ experience in calf rearing, suckler beef and supply chains and takes a hands-on approach to delivering industry leading performance figures. Also, Gary is one of the largest independent calf rearers in the UK with industry recognition as the leading practitioner, having particular expertise in cattle housing design and animal behaviour. Gary has participated in many research activities to aid progression in animal production and welfare. 

INZAR

Inzar are a world leading animal nutrition company founded in 1990. Their innovative approach to nutrition has revolutionised youngstock management and optimised performance and health within beef and lamb supply chains as well as production performance within the pork industry. Professor Octavio Catalán, their leading ruminant nutritionist, has developed multiple programmes to improve the economic efficiency of animal production systems, pioneering market leading innovation to improve animal welfare by reducing disease and the subsequent use of antibiotics. Inzar are a company of reverence for its efficiency and commitment, being recognized in the markets and sectors to which it is directed by its quality, service, vanguard and level of professionalism of its employees.
